This wardrobe has a typical wardrobe form, except with drawers in the middle to store small objects. There had been no traditional wardrobe built in lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl method, but this one seems to be built in 1940s when such method was widely used.
Curvy lines vividly express Asian style of art, and three-dimensional images of clouds and waters come from Makie technique from Japan.
